Removing
– Drain coolant ⇒ page 134
Golf, Golf Plus, Touran:
– Bring lock carrier into service position ⇒ General body repairs,
exterior; Rep. gr. 50 ; Body - front; Lock carrier - service po‐
sition .
Passat:
– Remove front bumper cover ⇒ General body repairs, exterior;
Rep. gr. 63 ; Bumper .
Continuation for all vehicle types:
– Remove fan support with fans
– Pull coolant hoses off radiator.
– Remove radiator securing bolts
move radiator with fan downwards.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. When installing,
note the following:
– Replenish coolant ⇒ page 134
