4-cylinder diesel engine (2.0 l engine, 4 valve) - Edition 02.2011
– Remove cover securing bolts -arrows- and remove cover.
– Push guide rail of chain tensioner in -direction of arrow- with
a screwdriver and secure chain tensioner with pin -T10115- .
– Remove chain tensioner securing bolts -1 and 3-.
– Loosen securing bolt -2- and remove chain tensioner.
– Remove circlip -1- using circlip pliers.
– Screw a M3 bolt in input shaft -2- and pull input shaft out of oil
pump.
– Remove suction line from oil pump.
– Remove oil pump securing bolts -arrows- and remove oil pump
downwards.
Installing
Note
Before installing check whether dowel sleeves are fitted in bal‐
ancer shaft module.
