Field Remedy
When the symptom occurs, replace the pickup roller (FC5-2524-000).
In addition, only the gray grooved pickup roller [B] is used for service parts.

Symptom
When the finisher is re-connected, "Delivery Setting" is initialized with the system software
earlier than ver.41.03.

Description
"Delivery Setting" was initialized after the finisher was disconnected from the main body, the main power
supply switch was turned OFF/ON, and the finisher was re-connected.
Cause
With the old system software, the finisher information was designed to be reset after the finisher was
disconnected from the main body, and the main power supply switch was turned OFF/ON.
Field Remedy
Upgrade the system software to ver.41.03 and later. With the new system software, the finisher
configuration information is not initialized even after the finisher is disconnected from the main body, and
the main power supply switch is turned OFF/ON, as long as it is cleared in the service mode.
[Caution] When upgrading the system software to ver.41.03 and later, make sure that the combination of
versions is appropriate.
