Service work
When the above symptom occurs, perform work by following the procedure below.
1) Remove the rear upper cover.
2) Remove two screws to open the finisher controller PCB [1].
3) Check that the tension spring is installed.
3-1) Check that the tension spring [2] (FU8-2173) shown in the photo below is installed at the location [a].
If the spring comes off or is not installed, go to step 4) below. Note that each hook end of this spring has
double turns.
