Inspect Clutch Pedal Free Play
Depress the clutch pedal slightly down till re-
sistance can be felt, measure the free play. The
allowed free play range is 5~15mm.

If clutch pedal free play does not meet the
specification, it must be adjusted or sent to
service stations for inspection and repair.
Brake pedal reserve distance
Inspect this item when engine is on. Depress
the brake pedal with 490N and the correct
reserve distance is when the brake pedal is de-
pressed to its end. The distance between upper
side of pedal and dash panel (reserve distance)
is not less than 55mm. And after some time,
the pedal position does not change.
Warning
Brake pedal reserve distance does not only
affect vehicle safety, but also may cause
brake failure and result in accidents.
Break pedal free play
Free play is 1--6mm.

when using tool.
Do not smoke or use flame near

the battery.
There is poisonous and corrosive

acid in electrolyte
Prevent electrolyte from spilling

into eyes, onto skin or clothes.
Do not drink electrolyte.

Use necessary protection devices

when working near battery.
Keep the battery away from chil-

dren.
