6. Check Tire Pressure

Keep Correct Tire Pressure
Suggest using cold tire pressure and size. De-
tails please refer to Chapter 7-4.
Check pressure every two weeks, at least every
month. Do not forget to check the spare tire.
Incorrect pressure leads to high fuel consump-
tion, bad drivability, short tire life, and decrease
of safety.
If the tire requires frequent pumping, please
take it to Geely service station to have it in-
spected.
Please follow the instructions below to check
tire pressure. Check the pressure only on cold
tire.
Warning
Keep the correct tire pressure. Or the
following circumstances may happen,
and can cause death or serious injuries.
--Low tire (insufficient inflation)
Excessive wear
Abnormal wear
Difficult steering
Tire overheat and leak
Bad sealing of the tire edge
Wheel deform and/or wheel/tire
detachment--High pressure (over
pumped)
Difficult steering
Excessive wear in the middle of
pattern.
High possibility of tire damage by
hard road surface.
Correct pressure can only be measured when
the vehicle has stopped for three hours or has
been running for less then 15km.
 Measure the pressure with gauge. It is
likely to make mistakes to judge pressure
with experience. In addition, even several
ponds' difference will impair comfort and
drivability.
 Do not release or reduce tire pressure
because it is normal to have higher tire
pressure after driving.
 Check if the newly installed tire has nozzle
cap on, or dust or moist will enter nozzle
and cause leak. If the tire nozzle cap is
lost, new cap must be installed immedi-
ately.
