2. Fuse Location

3. Self-servicing Precautions
If the owner decides to maintain the vehicle
himself/herself, he/she must follow the proce-
dures in this chapter. Please be noticed that in-
correct or incomplete maintenance may cause
operational problems.
In this chapter, there are only instructions for
maintenance items that are easy to perform by
the driver. Some of the items still require quali-
fied technicians and special tools.
Pay special attention to avoid accidental inju-
ries. Follow the precautions below:

Warning
Hand, clothes, or tools should be
kept away from working fan and en-
gine drive belt when the engine is run-
ning. (Better take off rings, watches,
ties, etc.)
The temperature of engine com-
partment (including engine, radia-
tor, exhaust system, power steering
fluid tank and spark plug cover) is
very high shortly after the vehicle is
stopped. So please be careful not to
touch anything. The temperature of
oil, fluid, and spark plug is also very
high.
Do not open the radiator cover or
unscrew the drain valve if the engine
temperature is very high to avoid be-
ing burnt.
Do not smoke around fuel tank or
battery to avoid flame or spark. Flame
easily makes fire.
