Refill or replace brake fluid with speci-
fied power steering fluid ATF DEXRON II.
It is not allowed to mix different
brands and types of power steering fluid.
Or steering system will be damaged and
lose function.
Steering fluid is poisonous. It should
be kept and disposed carefully. Never spill
the fluid on eyes, noise, mouth, and other
human parts.
Never use dirty steering fluid, or
steering system may lose its function early.
If the vehicle paint surface is stained
with steering fluid, wipe it away as soon as
possible or paint will be corroded.
Inspect the steering fluid level fre-
quently, not only in regular maintenance.
If there is excessive consumption of
steering fluid, send the vehicle to Geely
service station for inspection and repair.

5. Check Engine Coolant Level

Types of coolant: ethylene glycol anti-freeze
conforming to the standard SH0521 is recom-
mended. Other types of coolant or water dam-
age the aluminum parts of the engine or radia-
tor.

Check Coolant Level
 When the engine is cold, inspect the transpar-
ent expansion tank. The coolant level should
be between the FULL and LOW marks.
 The coolant level in compensation tank
varies at different engine temperature.
When the level is lower than "Full" or only
a little bit higher than "LOW", fill more
coolant till up to "Full".
 If no leak is detected. Have Geely service
station measure the pressure on radiation
cover, and inspect the whole cooling sys-

 Do not Remove the thermostat in the
engine cooling system, otherwise the en-
gine may be overheated. The thermostat is
used to control the cooling flow to confine
the temperature of the engine to the speci-
fied range.
 In case of overheated engine, don't
continue the driving.
