8. Trunk Lid

Open and Close the Trunk Lock
To open the trunk lid from the outside, insert
the master key in and turn it clockwise.
To close the trunk lid, press it downward. Check
that it is tightly closed by pulling it upward.
Warning
During the driving, the trunk lid should
be kept closed, which can not only pre-
vent the luggage from being thrown out,
but also prevent the entry of the exhaust
gas into the car.
To open the trunk lid when sitting in the driver
seat, pull the lock release lever upward.

After the trunk lid is closed, inserting the key
and turning it counterclockwise will disable the
function of the trunk lid pull handle (as shown
in the figure below).
Precautions for Luggage Load
When loading the luggage or cargoes, the fol-
lowing instructions should be followed:
Try to place the luggage or cargoes in the
trunk. You have to make sure that all things are
tightly secured in place.
You have to keep the balance of the vehicle,
try to place the weights in the front to keep the
balance.
To save fuel consumption, do not carry on the
unnecessary heavy goods in the car.
