Risk of injury caused by lowering of the surgical microscope!
• Never mount or remove accessory equipment on the surgical microscope
during surgery.
• Make sure that the maximum permissible load on the suspension arm is
not exceeded.
• Re-adjust the balance of the suspension arm after every change of equip-
ment.
• Adjust the limit of downward travel of the suspension arm in such a way
that the surgical microscope cannot come into contact with the patient.
Risk of injury caused by parts falling down!
• Before every use and after re-equipping the system, make sure that bin-
ocular tube (5) is securely locked in position.
• Make sure that securing screw (4) and objective lens (3) have been firmly
tightened!
• Bring the suspension arm in a position convenient for you and tighten fric-
tion adjustment knob (1).
• Loosen securing screw (4) by a few turns.
• Remove cover (2) and store it in a safe place.
• Place binocular tube (5) on the microscope body and firmly tighten secur-
ing screw (4).
• You can install further accessories between the binocular tube and the mi-
croscope body. Lock these units in position in the same way using secur-
ing screw (4).
