Regular preventive maintenance is required to ensure safe and correct opera-
tion and a long service life of the system on an ongoing basis.
The following table lists the relevant maintenance activities and shows at
which maximum intervals they must be performed.
The corresponding procedures in order to perform maintenance activities on
your own can be found in the following descriptions.
Any other maintenance activities that are not described here in detail require
device-specific knowledge.
Please contact your local ZEISS Service or an authorized partner for per-
forming maintenance activities in due time.
Maintenance tasks
Visual inspection and function test of the following modules:
– Suspension system with carrier arm
– Brakes on the floor stand
– Illumination and power supply unit
– Surgical microscope with binocular tube
– Fiber optics
– Power cord
– Function test of limit of downward travel
– Connected accessories
– Function test of video system (option)
