Basic functions
Wheelchair function
•
In order to lock the knee joint, simply push the
shank to the desired position and keep shortly at
rest
→
Between 45° and nearly extended knee joint
→
Lift either with contralateral side or by hand
•
In order to unlock the knee joint either:
•
toe load has to be applied (e.g. tapping
against a wall)
OR
•
the prosthetic foot has to be lifted slightly (e.g.
by means of the contralateral side)
