Alignment and adjustment
Static alignment optimization with L.A.S.A.R posture
•
If the alignment recommendations
(socket flexion!) were followed,
minor changes in foot PF/DF should
provide a good sagittal situation for
most user
•
Adapt PF/DF so that vertical load line
is 30 mm anterior to the knee axis
•
For frontal alignment the vertical load
line should be placed centric or up to
2 cm lateral of middle of knee joint
•
The prosthetic side should be loaded
with at least 35% of body weight
