To achieve stance release a dynamic movement is necessary!
From stance phase – to swing phase

Step position, prosthesis ahead, heel contact
•
Move center of mass forward to load the
prosthesis:

Support forward movement at the hip to facilitate
weight bearing till end of stance phase

The contralateral leg takes a step
→
Stance release on prosthetic side
