6.15.3 Control panel holder

6.15.3.1 Swing-away control panel holder
The power wheelchair can be equipped with a removable control panel on a swing-away control panel holder. This
control panel holder makes it possible to drive the power wheelchair under a table or closer to an object.
The control panel holder can be rotated up to the armrest. In addition, the control panel can be removed upwards
from the control panel holder.

6.15.3.2 Height-adjustable control panel holder
The power wheelchair can be equipped with a special control panel holder which allows for height adjustment of
the control panel.

Applying comfort knee pad
1) Pull out the comfort knee pad.
2) Position the legs of the user on the foot support.
3) Insert the comfort knee pad.
WARNING! The knee pad supports (see fig. 35,
item 1) should lie flat on the lower legs below
the knee caps. The legs must be supported on
the foot support. The knee pad supports must
press the calves firmly against the leg pad, but
not too tightly so the user is not injured.
4) Fold the locking lever forward to apply tension (see
fig. 35, item 2). Do not over-tighten.
INFORMATION: There should be a small
amount of space (approximately one finger
width) between the knee pad support and lower
leg.
Swinging away the control panel holder
1) Apply slight pressure to push the control panel
holder to the side.
→ The pivot element is released.
2) Swing the control panel holder away to the side.
INFORMATION: The pivot element locks in
place again when the holder is rotated back to
the original position.
Adjusting the height
1) Loosen the mounting screws.
2) Adjust the height of the control panel holder.
3) Tighten the mounting screws.
