6.12.2 Electric stand-up function

WARNING
Incorrect handling of the stand-up function
Falling, tipping over due to user error
► Always remove the seat retaining straps before using the stand-up function. As long as the seat retaining
straps are connected below the seat, the stand-up function is blocked (see Page 55).
► Drive in street traffic only with the stand-up device lowered.
► Only use the stand-up function with the chest and lap belts applied and the knee pads fastened.
► Do not lean out when the stand-up device is in the raised position. Do not pull any objects towards you when
the stand-up device is in the raised position.
► Only travel short distances when the stand-up device is in the raised position, e.g. when manoeuvring.
► Note the maximum load capacity of the stand-up device (see the section "Technical data").
► Ensure that creep speed is activated when the stand-up function is used. If this is not the case, contact the
qualified personnel immediately. Only use the power wheelchair with the stand-up device in its lowest position
until the fault is rectified.
► Changes or conversions on the stand-up device are not permitted.

► Always lower the stand-up device fully for loading or transportation.

The power wheelchair is equipped with a standard
stand-up device that enables the user to assume a
standing position.
The driving function can be used in the home environ­
ment even when the seat is raised to the standing posi­
tion.
The speed is reduced (creep speed) as soon as the
seat leaves the lowest position, because the power
wheelchair is less resistant to tipping.
