Designation Description
WAN Interfaces You can use this selection field to determine which WAN interface* should normally
be used.
The options are:
* The selection field for the WAN interface can vary depending on the type of router.
Source IP Enter the source IP addresses of incoming data packets for which the firewall rule ap-
plies. If you leave this field empty (blank), these rules will be applied to all data traffic
and only on the selected interface.
Acceptable input: IP address or netmask or List of IP addresses or Range of IP ad-
dresses [e.g. 192.168.0.100-192.168.0.200] or empty
Source Port Enter the source ports of incoming data packets for which the firewall rule applies. If
you leave this field empty (blank), these rules will be applied to all data traffic and on-
ly on the selected interface.
Acceptable input: Integer or empty
Protocol Selection field for the transfer protocol to use.
The options are:
LAN Interfaces You can use this selection field to determine which LAN interface* should normally be
used. The options are:
Destination IP Enter the IP address to which data packets are to be forwarded.
Acceptable input: IP address or netmask or empty
Destination Port Enter the ports to which the data packets are to be forwarded.
Acceptable input: Integer or List of ports (between 0 and 65535) separated with com-
mas or Port range [e.g. 32240-32245] or empty
Ranges must be separated by a hyphen (-) and enumerated by comma (,).
No spaces between the elements to be separated!
