a.
Crane not level.
b. Turntable bearing binding due to
continuous limited swing. (Example:
concrete pourer.)

Restricted hose or fitting.
d. Damaged swing directional control
valve.
e.
Damaged swing pinion.
f.
Damaged turntable bearing.
g. Electrical connections.
h. Controller settings.
a.
Damaged relief valve.
b. Damaged swing motor.
c.
Swing brake not releasing properly.
d. Damaged wiring/connectors.
e.
Internal damage to swing box.
f.
Worn or damaged hydraulic pump.
g. Damaged swing directional control
valve.
h. Damaged swing pinion.
i.
Damaged turntable bearing.
j.
Excessive overload.

SWING SYSTEM
Solution
a.
Level crane using outriggers.
b. Rotate machine 360 degrees in both
directions several times and lubricate
bearing.
c.
Replace hose or fitting.
d. Replace
swing
directional
valve.
e.
Replace pinion.
f.
Replace turntable bearing.
g. Inspect wiring and connectors.
h. Check settings. See item t. on previous
page.

Remove, clean, and repair or replace
relief valve.
b. Repair or replace swing motor.
c.
Repair as necessary.
d. Inspect wiring and connectors.
e.
Remove swing box and repair.
f.
Replace pump section.
g. Replace
swing
directional
valve.
h. Replace pinion.

Replace turntable bearing.
