7. Apply medium strength threadlocking compound (Spec.
6829012418) to the four M10 capscrews and to the M20
capscrew.
8. Attach the end plate to the lift cylinder upper pivot shaft
with the four M10 capscrews. Attach the end plate to the
boom with the M20 capscrew and washer. Torque the

Shim (3) shown on right side of cylinder. Often this shim
is installed on the left side of the cylinder.

page 1-13. Torque the M10 capscrews.
9. Remove the lifting and supporting devices from the
boom and lift cylinders. Activate the hydraulic system
and check the lift cylinder for proper operation and any
leaks. Repair any leaks.
