6.4 CLOSED CASE DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURES

This section describes the items that may be removed/replaced without
disassembling the main case of the monitor.
Step A1
To remove front panel knob:
a) Knob is friction-fit on encoder shaft. Grasp sides of knob firmly and pull
straight back from monitor; knob should slip off encoder shaft.
b) If knob does not move, separate front and rear cases as described in step
B1. There is a hole in front cover behind knob; insert small screwdriver
blade in hole and push firmly against back of knob.
