Replacing fuel filter 1

Designation
Filter (large)
Alternatively:
Set of both filters 1 + 2 (large + small)
– Receptacle, approx. 5 l (1.5 gal);
– Torque wrench for torque of 55 Nm (40.5 lbf ft).
– The truck crane must be level and on outriggers;
– The main boom must be fully raised;
– The engine must be switched off and secured against unauthorised use;

– If the fuel is contaminated: Reduce the maintenance interval.
Risk of environmental damage due to leaking consumables.
Always let consumables drain into suitable receptacles. Wipe up any con-
sumables that have leaked.
Store/dispose of consumables and any soaked equipment properly.
Ask about the applicable regulations.

Open the valve (1) and let the consumable
drain out.
