cause an unexpected accident or fire.
If the suppled basket s not used, problems n cuttng qualty may occur. Be sure to use the basket.
Please use the paper (meda) n accordance wth the followng precautons.
• The paper s senstve to temperature and humdty, and can start to stretch or contract mmedately upon
removal from the roll. Cuttng/plottng the meda mmedately after takng t off causes t to stretch and may
blur or cause devatons n the mages.
• Please make sure to store the paper at the same envronment (temperature/humdty) as ths machne.
• Please always lne up the edge of the paper.
Msalgnment may cause skewng and ms-cuts.
• About the end of the roll meda and the paper roll.
The cuttng or plottng may dffer dependng on how the roll meda ended or how the paper roll was stopped.
• About the paper roll.
Ths machne uses rolls wth an nternal dameter of 3 nches, or 76.2 mm. Ms-cuts or plottng devatons
may occur f the paper roll s warped or has a larger nternal dameter.
• Please make sure to use the Paper Exposure Tme and Number of Pre Feeds settngs.
The meda can start to stretch or contract after t s taken off the roll. Changes n temperature and/or humdty
affect the paper's contractblty and saturaton tme, and may cause ms-cuts or plottng devatons.
To prevent ths from occurrng, ths machne s preset for Paper Exposure Tme at 180 seconds, and
Number of Pre Feeds at 2. For detals on how to change these settngs, see "Settng Paper Exposure Tme"
and "Settng the Number of Pre Feeds" n Secton 4.

When the cuttng speed s too fast, the meda devatons may occur. Reduce the cuttng speed to use the
thn meda.
Especally, please reduce the cuttng speed n low humdty envronment.
