Adjusting coordinate Axes
The followng explan how to adjust to coordnated axes.
Supplement
Adjustment wll be cleared f followng s done after settng the adjustment.
• Set new orgn pont.
• Set the meda agan.
• Set rotaton or mrror. (Set the rotaton or mrror pror to the axs adjustment)
Axs adjustment wll convert n accordance wth rotaton or mrror n ths case.
When the inclination of the axis is too large when setting the first and second point, "Angle adjustment error, please reset" will be
dsplayed. After settng the meda so as to make the nclnaton small, please perform adjustment operatons.
Axs adjustment wll be cleared when pont 1 and pont 2 s set to same pont.
Setting the start point
Adjust plot devatons on the X and Y axs and orgn pont.
Ths functon also makes t possble to re-plot paper that has already been cut.
Before adjustng the coordnate axes, please make sure to plot the lne of the X Axs and the Orgn pont, so that
t wll be easer to tell where the Orgn pont and the coordnate axes are.
Please make sure to plot nsde of the area parameters so that the machne can determne the lne of the X axs
and the orgn pont even f the meda s tlted.
Please note that f you plot the Orgn pont and the X Axs very close to the plottng range, the set poston wll
fall outsde of the plottng range, meanng that adjustment wll not be possble.
Operation

Load the meda wth adjustment mark n the plotter.
Loadng Meda (Paper).

Set a cutter plunger or a pen n the tool holder.

Press the [PAUSE/MENU] key.
MENU screen s dsplayed.
Supplement
Confirm that the push roller is steadily on the
meda wthn the range of meda movement.
Ths adjustment s based on assumpton that
meda s slghtly tlted. Meda mght fall off f
the tltng of the meda s too large.

the tool holder to poston t front facng out n
