4 Select Routing from the Forwarding Mode drop-down menu - if it is not
already selected. Routing is the default selection for this field.
5 Enter the VPI (Virtual Port Identifier) Number that was provided by your
Service Provider in the VPI Number field.
6 Enter the VCI (Virtual Circuit Identifier) Number that was provided by your
Service Provider in the VCI Number field.
7 Select RIPv2 (unless instructed otherwise by your Service Provider) from
the IP Routing Protocol drop-down menu.
8 Make sure that disabled is selected in the DHCP Client Over WAN
drop-down menu. RFC 1483-MER requires the use of Static IP addressing.
9 Enter the Local WAN IP address for the OfficeConnect Gateway in the
Local WAN IP Address field. Your Service Provider will give you this
address.
