Configuration
ONFIGURATION
To configure your LAN settings for the Advanced DHCP level, perform the
following steps:
1 Select Advanced DHCP in the LAN Configuration Level drop-down menu
to access the LAN Configuration page for this level, shown in the
following illustration.
2 Enter the following information in the text fields of this page:
Domain Name: Enter a Domain Name for your LAN, such as
I
ocg.net, in the Domain Name field. Enter a meaningful name for
your domain that will be easy to identify on the network.
Default Gateway: Enter the IP address of your default gateway in
I
the Default Gateway field, such as 192.168.1.1. The default gateway
is the router that connects the PCs on your LAN to the Internet. For
most cases, the OfficeConnect Gateway is the default gateway.
Host Name: Enter a unique name for your OfficeConnect Gateway in
I
the Host Name field.
The IP Addresses for the following fields will be provided to you by your
Service Provider:
Primary LAN DNS Server: Enter the IP address provided by your
I
Service Provider in the Primary LAN DNS Server field. If you are using
