AFNZPxxx– DUALACE2 NEW GENERATION – User Manual
DUALACE2 NEW GENERATION Standard
Name
Analog input 1.
CPOT
The default function is as accelerator reference (wiper contact of
the accelerator potentiometer).
Digital input active when connected to +B.
FW
The default function is as forward request; closing this input the
truck moves forward.
Digital input active when connected to +B.
BW
The default function is as backward request; closing this input
the truck moves backward.
Digital input active when connected to -B.
SEAT
The default function is as seat (or tiller) input.
Channel A of the right-hand side incremental encoder.
Positive supply for the right-hand side encoder and for
potentiometers (+5 V or +12 V, 200 mA maximum).
Negative supply for the left-hand side encoder, the left-hand side
thermal sensor and potentiometers.
Analog input 2.
The default function is as breaking reference (wiper contact of
the brake potentiometer).
Channel A of the left-hand side incremental encoder.
If connected to A31 (CANH), it introduces the 120 Ohm
CANT
termination resistance between CANL and CANH.
Channel B of the left-hand side incremental encoder.
Channel B of the right-hand side incremental encoder.
Negative supply for the right-hand side encoder, the right-hand
side thermal sensor and potentiometers.
Driving output for the line – or main – contactor (driving to -B);
NLC
PWM controlled; 2 A maximum continuous current.
Connecting this pin to the positive supply of electromechanical
PEB
brakes and proportional electrovalve closes the recirculating path
for the built-in freewheeling diodes.
Driving output for the right-hand side electromechanical brake
(driving to -B); PWM controlled; 3 A maximum continuous
current.

You can check the operation of the Zapi DUALACE2 NEW GENERATION controller without a display using the following methods:

1. Zapi Smart Console – Connect the Zapi Smart Console to the CAN bus to access diagnostics and parameter settings.
2. PC CAN Console – Use the PC CAN Console software to monitor and adjust controller settings.
3. Self-Diagnosis Feature – The controller performs self-diagnosis, and faults can be displayed using Zapi tools.
4. Alarm History Log – Check the log of alarms to review past faults and system behavior.
5. TESTER Function – Use the TESTER function to monitor key operational readouts.

These methods allow you to diagnose and verify the controller’s operation without an external display.

A brumby electrical truck that has a zapi inv.dace2, records the failure 244 "Warning Slave It depends on the supervisor uc", and the alarm 248 "Mc is Opened, eb is applied". On the other hand, the LED does not turn on, but in the manual I did not find the LED code. I would like more certainty about whether the failure is from the controller and the LED code for this Zapi model.

Failure 244 "Warning Slave" depends on the supervisor microcontroller (µC). No specific effect or troubleshooting steps are provided in the available context.

Alarm 248 "MC is Opened, EB is Applied" indicates that the main contactor (MC) is open, and the electric brake (EB) is applied. This typically occurs during start-up, standby, or other system states.

The LED code for this model is not explicitly provided in the available context.
