Cleaning Instructions

8.1.1

Requirements

Before You Begin
Warning
Ensure that the system is fully shut down and disconnected from mains power before
beginning cleaning.
Warning
Risk of electrical shock: Prior to and during all cleaning and disinfection work, ensure that
the tracking system (optical or electromagnetic) is disconnected from Monitor Cart.
No Automatic Disinfection
Do not use automatic cleaning and disinfection procedures for Curve components.
Do not expose the Curve system to direct UV light, as it may damage equipment.
No Sterilization
Do not sterilize Curve system components.
No Liquids
If liquids come in contact with the foam surrounding the monitor frame and touchscreen, there
may be temporary adverse effects to touchscreen functionality.
Touchscreen functionality should return to normal after the foam has dried, however, is it
recommended to avoid having liquids come in contact with the foam, in particular during cleaning.
Do not spray cleaning solvents or other liquids directly into the speaker grids or air vents.
Ensure that liquid does not enter the Curve components, as this could damage the
component and/or the electronics.
Use only a moist cloth for cleaning. Other methods could allow liquids to enter the system
and cause damage.
