Cleaning Overview

Before You Begin
Ensure that the system is shut down before beginning cleaning.
No Automatic Disinfection
Do not use automatic cleaning and disinfection procedures for Buzz Navigation (Ceiling-
Mounted) components.
No Sterilization
Do not sterilize Buzz Navigation (Ceiling-Mounted) components.
No Liquids
Do not spray cleaning solvents or other liquids directly into electrical interfaces or openings, e.g.,
the air vents.
Ensure that liquid does not enter Buzz Navigation (Ceiling-Mounted) components, as this could
damage the component and/or the electronics.
Warning
Use only a moist cloth for cleaning. Other methods could allow liquids to enter the system
and cause damage.
Disinfectant Compatibility
The Buzz Navigation (Ceiling-Mounted) system shall only be cleaned with the following
disinfectant types:
Disinfectant Type
Alcohol-based
Alkylamine-based
Active oxygen-based
Aldehyde/chloride-based
NOTE: Surface disinfectants may leave a residue. This can be easily removed using a dry cloth.
