Transporting the System

7.3.1

Requirements

Before You Begin
System transportation should be supervised by at least one person to avoid collisions with other
equipment, structures or people.
Warning
Only move the carts when they are in the secure transport position.
Warning
Ensure that all screwable locks on the monitor arms are securely locked.
Warning
Open all brakes before moving the system. Do not attempt to move Monitor Cart or Camera
Cart when the wheels are locked, otherwise carts could tip.
Warning
Slowly move the Monitor Cart and Camera Cart back and forth to ensure that they are
securely docked together.
Warning
Ensure that the intended path is clear of obstructions. Avoid door steps or objects that
may be lying on floor. Do not run over system cables during transport.
Avoid Vibrations
Do not move system when it is switched on. Exposing the system to strong vibrations or impacts
could cause damage and result in an irreversible loss of data.
Avoid vibrations and shocks during moving and storage.
Flat Surface
The transport speed of the docked system will increase on tilted surfaces. Tilted surfaces may
cause the system to tip over.
Warning
You can use, move or park the platform in any position (of system arms and camera cart)
on a tilted ground with a grade up to 5°.
• You may only move or park the system on ground with a tilt greater than 5° if the
platform is in transport position.
• The system may not be moved or parked in any position if the ground has a tilt of more
than 10°.
Unintentional Movement
Warning
When moving the Camera Cart, be aware that the suspended arm may move
unintentionally.
