5.1 Replacing Joint #1 Motor

Joint #1 motor (1) Remove the Connector Plate.
Removal
(2) Disconnect the connector.
(3) Remove the Arm #1 mounting bolt in the Joint #1 side and remove the arm.
(4) Remove the screws mounting the Joint #1 flange
(5) Hold up the Joint #1 unit and remove it from the

Connectors: X41, X211 (Hold the clip to remove.)
There is an O-ring (CO0551A) between the Joint #1 unit and the arm. Be sure to
keep the O-ring.

Be careful not to damage the motor cable by
getting it caught on the base.

There is an O-ring in the assembly position of the
motor flange and Joint #1 flange.
Be careful not to lose the O-ring.
