Test4 Error Code 0:
This test checks the E^PROM (ICIO on the 2288 Analog boan
for the stored battery monitoring values which are programme
at the factory. These values are checked against certain limits,
they fall within these limits then the test will pass. If the valu(
are not within the limits then new values will have to I
programmed in before the monitor can be operational.
Run Mode Errors
Error messages may be displayed during normal operation of the moni
the processor detects any failures. These errors will be displayed on the
matrix display as "MONITOR ERROR-XXXX" where XXXX will be a number
responding to a specific error code. If one or more errors occur the sum of
code numbers will be displayed, i.e. if error codes 01 and 02 are detected
"MONITOR ERROR-0003" will be displayed. The error codes are listed below
01 Euse on the 2288 Eront End Board blown or failure of IC24
on Eront End Board.
02 250 msec interrupt overrun. This is a display averaging
routine which monitors display values and compares them
against the user set limits. It also controls trending.
04 5 msec interrupt overrun.
08 Stack overrun error.
10 Stack top error
20 Watchdog failure. This is a software generated NMI.
40 Illegal memory mapping. Monitor is not addressing run time
memory.
80 Illegal interrupt request.
Status Errors
These are messages which prevent the monitor from calculating any S
or Resp Rate values. These errors relate the condition of the probe ani
most cases can be alleviated by proper application of the probe.
CONNECT 87XX PROBE: SuperBright™ sensor has not been attached
to the monitor
PROBE OFF PATIENT: Sensor is connected but not attached to pa¬
tient.
