Press the
Test
softkey and verify "NO PROBE CONNECTED" is shown on
display. Plug the sensor simulator or a good probe into the front panel soc
verify "PROBE CONNECTED" appears.
Plug the analog module into the rear panel 25 pin connector, use pins 2, 3
ground reference when measuring the output voltages.
NOTE: This step and the next is for analog output checks only.
Press the

softkey. Press the

softkey to select MONITOR TEST -

softkey. Monitor output pins 1, 4, and 9 of the analog mo(
for the voltages listed below. Use the

Turn the monitor off, simultaneously press the second softkey from the left ,
the power button, verify all the segments on the VFD display tire illuminal
along with all the LEDs, and the audio alarm,
for approximately 8 secor
Then verify that the units resets into normal operating mode.

With the monitor off simultaneously press the leftmost softkey and the poi
button, as soon as the unit beeps press and hold the second softkey from
right, verify the unit powers up in test mode,

Use AGND as reference for all measurements unless otherwise stated (top
R58). Measure the following voltages;
IC21 pin 4.+12.8 VDC ± 0.5V (+VA21)
IC21 pin 11.-12.8 VDC ± ().5V (-VA21)
IC12pin4.5.1 VDC ± 0.02 (+5VA)
IC15 pin 1.+4.2 VDC ± 0.2 (VREF+)
Use the
Next
softkey to select
"MONITOR TEST
- 09". Press the
Test

verify the display shows

press the
Test
softkey again
initiate the test.
Monitor IC22 pin 1 and pin 8 with the oscilloscope. Press
