Set the controls on the TB500A as follows;
SIGNAL ATTENUATION: 3
SATURATION: 100
Turn the TB500A ON and connect it to the monitor.
Verify that the monitor's display settles at 100 -99 and the PULSE RATI
60 bpm ± 2 bpm. Verify the bar pulses with each pulse rate tone.

Set the SATURATION to O, verify that after thirty seconds the pulse bar (
appears, the SATURATION and PULSE RATE values disappear and the a
flashes.
Set the SATURATION to

turns to normal operation, press the ALERT RESET key to turn the alert off.
Set the SIGNAL ATTENUATION to
