Production Test Software
This section describes the special "Production Test Software" used in c
brating and troubleshooting the monitor. To access this software refer to ;
tion 4.5.
MONITOR TEST 01- "Automatic Test", monitor tests 02 thru 06,
and 10 are automatically ran in sequence. If any failures are encountered
monitor will stop at the particular test number that failed. For example, if
03 failed then the monitor will stop at "M0NITOR TEST 03".
MONIT0R TEST 02- "RAM Test", test RAM from A000H to 0H
by writing 55H and then AAh to each RAM location and reading it back,
tests each data bit.
MONIT0R TEST 03 - "ROM Checksum test", checks the calcuh
checksum of the EPROM against that value stored in EEPROM, if the val
are different the monitor must perform an auto calibration before it can run i
mally. This will occur if the system software has been changed to ensure
front end is calibrated with each revision level change in software.
