Instructions for use Infinity Acute Care System – Infinity M540 SW VG4.n
Description
Assigns an alarm priority to the sensor alarm
or deactivates the sensor alarm.
– High: The event is treated as a high-priori-
ty alarm.
– Medium: The event is treated as a medi-
um- priority alarm.
– Low: The event is treated as a persistent
low-priority alarm.
– One-shot: The event is treated as a low-
priority, single notification alarm.
: No visual or acoustic alarm signals
are triggered; however, if the sensor is no
longer attached to the patient, a corre-
sponding message appears in the SpO
parameter box.
Determines what happens when the corre-
sponding alarm occurs. The selected alarm
grade affects how the alarm event is reported
visually and acoustically (see page 87 and
page 88) – generates a timed recording and
stores the event.
– High: The event is treated as a latching
alarm.
– Medium: The event is treated as a medium
grade alarm.
– Low: The event is treated as a persistent
lowalarm.
– One-shot: The event is treated as a low
grade, single notification. The message
ECG leads off appears briefly in the head-
er bar until the user acknowledges the con-
dition or the condition disappears.
: No visual or acoustic alarm signals
are triggered.
