Chapter 10 - Configuration
When the CO
apnea alarm cascade setting is
2
set to "Yes", the priority of the alarm changes
depending on how long the alarm condition
has been active:
Duration of CO
Apnea Alarm
2
0 to 30 seconds
31 to 60 seconds
more than 60 seconds
When the CO
apnea alarm cascade setting is
2
set to "No", the alarm is always a Warning in
Man/Spont, Pressure Support, Aux. CGO, or
Monitoring mode.

Other Alarm Settings

These settings control the following alarm-related
functions; they can be set to "Yes" or "No".

a setting that determines whether or not the
alarm limits menu is automatically displayed
when an alarm limit is violated

a setting that determines whether M
Pulse alarm limits are to be preset in relation to
the patient's ideal body weight and age

a setting that determines the pressure at which
the warning "O
CYLINDER LOW" is

displayed. This setting appears only if the O
cylinder has been configured as a gas supply
