To avoid inconsistent results due to temperature fluctuations,
Tip:
ensure the column heater's or column manager's door latch is completely
closed.
Column compartment door in closed position:
Warning:
before you connect or disconnect the external communication cable
(between the sample manager and the column heater).
Caution:
• To avoid damage to the components, power-off the sample
manager before you connect or disconnect the external
communication cable (between the sample manager and the
column heater).
• To avoid damaging electrical components, do not disconnect an
electrical assembly from an instrument or device that remains
connected to a building's electrical supply. To completely
interrupt power, set the unit's power switch to Off. Then
disconnect the power cord from the unit's rear panel or from the
wall outlet. After discontinuing power, wait 10 seconds before
attempting to disconnect an assembly.
Installing the columns (ACQUITY UPLC 30-cm CHC)
You can install multiple chromatographic columns within the compartment of
the column heater or column heater/cooler. The table below shows the possible
column configurations. Columns are not provided with the column
heater/cooler.
