OPERATION

STEERING SELECTION METHOD

There are 3 types of steering:
2WS steering: Used for fast transfers and circulation on
the road
4WS C Steering (crab): Used when manoeuvring on tight
spaces on site
4WS R steering (round): Used to position the machine on
site

Select the steering type with the switches (1) and (2) located on the right dashboard. For details of the cau-
tion lamps, see "SWITCHES (3-96)".

In the monitor area (3) dedicated to the steering signal
lights, the caution lamp of the selected steering or the
warning lamps are displayed for the corrections to be
made. For details of the caution lamps, see "STEERING
MODE SIGNAL DISPLAY (3-44)".
3.
Steer the machine left or right using the steering wheel (4).

METHOD FOR SWINGING MACHINE

Before swinging machine, make sure that there is no
one within its operating range and that there are no
obstacles in the surrounding area.
If the travel levers or travel pedals are operated when
the engine speed is decreased by the auto-decelera-
tion function, the engine speed will suddenly increase.
Operate the levers carefully.
1.
Operate L.H. work equipment control lever (1) to swing the
upper structure.
(A): Swing LEFT
(B): Swing RIGHT
2.
When you do not swing the upper structure, set L.H. work
equipment control lever (1) to N (neutral) position.
The swing brake is applied.

METHOD FOR OPERATING WORK EQUIPMENT

If the travel pedals are operated when the engine speed is decreased by the auto-deceleration function,
the engine speed will suddenly increase. Use the levers with caution.
