MACHINE OPERATIONS AND CONTROLS
1.
Check that there are no persons or obstacles in the surrounding area.
2.
Start the engine and set the controls lock lever (1) in the
FREE position (F).
3.
If you have to travel on the road, align the references and
secure the stabilizers and the bucket with the safety ca-
bles.
4.
Insert the boom rotation pedal stop (2).
5.
Check that the outriggers or blade are raised and that the
attachment is raised from the ground by at least 40-50 cm.
6.
Check that the work brake is disengaged. For details of the
caution lamps, see "BRAKE PEDAL (3-114)".
7.
Check that the control levers are in the neutral position.
8.
Check that the axle lock is deactivated. For details of the
caution lamps, see "AXLE LOCK SWITCH (3-102)".
9.
Check the alignment of the turret and align it if necessary.
For details of the caution lamps, see "TURRET ALIGN-
MENT WARNING LIGHT (3-50)".
10. Check the alignment of the rear wheels and align them if necessary. For details of the caution lamps, see
"INDICATOR FOR SIGNALLING THE REAR WHEELS ARE NOT ALIGNED (3-51)".
11. Position the hand throttle (3) at the desired engine speed. For details of the caution lamps, see "FUEL
CONTROL DIAL (3-100)".
12. Select the forward gear (F) with the switch on the right joy-
stick (4).
13. Push the travel pedal fully and, when the machine reaches
the maximum speed, press the switch in direction (a).
Lamp (c) lights and the travel pedal locks in position.
14. To deactivate the system, simply press the brake pedal or
press the switch in direction (b).
Lamp (c) switches off and the travel pedal is released and
can be used normally.
