Insert the key into starting switch (2) and turn it to ON posi-
tion (B).
• If a password is set, the input display screen will be in-
dicated on the monitor screen. On the input display
screen displayed on the monitor, input the password
and push input confirmation switch F6 (3).
REMARK
For further details on setting, changing, or canceling
the password, contact your Komatsu distributor.
• If inputting ID number for operator identification func-
tion (with SKIP) is set, "ID Number Input" screen is
displayed on the monitor when the starting switch is
turned to ON position. When "ID Number Input"
screen is displayed on the monitor, input the ID num-
ber and press input confirmation switch F6 (3).
For details of the caution lamps, see "WHEN OPERA-
TOR IDENTIFICATION FUNCTION IS AVAILABLE
WITH SKIP (3-91)".
REMARK
Contact your Komatsu distributor for details of the
method of setting, changing, or canceling the ID num-
ber.
6.
Perform the following inspection on the machine monitor.
1)
The buzzer sounds for approximately 2 seconds and
the following caution lamps light up for approximately
2 seconds.
• Charge level caution lamp (4)
• Engine oil pressure caution lamp (5)
If any caution lamp does not light up or the buzzer
does not sound, there is probably a failure in the cau-
tion lamp, so ask your Komatsu distributor for repair.
