OPERATION
3.
Turn the fuel control dial (3) to Low idle (MIN) position.
4.
Turn the starting switch key (2) to the START position (C).
The engine starts.
5.
When the engine starts, release the starting switch key (2).
The key returns automatically to the ON position (B).
REMARK
When the engine is started, the battery voltage may sud-
denly drop depending on the temperature and the battery
condition. If this occurs, the display on the machine moni-
tor may temporarily turn off, but this does not indicate any
type of malfunction.
NOTICE
•
After the engine starts, wait for the engine oil
pressure caution lamp to go out. Do not touch the
control levers or control pedal while the engine oil
pressure monitor is lit.
•
If the engine oil pressure caution lamp does not
go out in 4 to 5 seconds, stop the engine immedi-
ately. Check the oil level, check that there are no
oil leaks and take the appropriate measures.
