TROUBLES AND ACTIONS
Problem
Charge level caution lamp does not
go out even when engine is running.
Unusual noise is generated from al-
ternator.
Starting motor does not rotate even
when starting switch is turned to
START position.
Pinion of starting motor repeats en-
gaging and disengaging (rattles).
Starting motor turns engine sluggish-
ly.
Starting motor disengages before
engine starts.
Preheating pilot lamp does not light
up.
Oil pressure caution lamp does not
light up when engine is stopped
(starting switch is at ON position).
When startability at low temperature
is poor, if you touch the outside of
the electric heater by hand after pre-
heating, it is not felt warm.
Engine does not start.
(L04 lights up on monitor.)
When travel lever is operated, travel
alarm does not sound.
Rearview monitor displays nothing.
