ATTACHMENTS AND OPTIONS
The hydraulic drift of the work equipment (the amount of the work equipment moves down under its
own weight when it is stopped in a raised position) also becomes greater. Do not stop the work
equipment in air.
Do not suddenly swing, lower, or stop the work equipment. There is danger that the machine may tip
over.
Do not suddenly extend or retract the boom cylinder rod. The shocks may cause the machine to tip
over.
When calculating the allowable mass of attachments and the mass of the bucket, refer to paragraph SPECIFI-
CATIONS "LIFTING CAPACITY ".
For an attachment not intended to bear a load, for example a breaker, the minimum lift capacity of the machine
should not BE exceeded, as shown on the related lifting capacity charts.
For attachments intended to bear a load, for example clamshell bucket or grapple, the combined mass of the
attachment plus load, should not exceed the maximum lift capacity figures as shown in the related lifting ca-
pacity charts.
