3.2 Image Quality Troubleshooting
Step
Set the Non-FUJI XEROX toner option to [off].

Is the image printed correctly?
Checking the Transfer Unit for connection.
9 Remove the Transfer Unit.
Are the Plate Spring BTR on HVPS dirty or deformed?
Checking after resetting the Transfer Unit.
10 Reseat the Transfer Unit.
Is the image printed correctly?
Checking the Drum Cartridge for connection.
Remove the Drum Cartridge.

Are the Spring BCR and Spring DB on HVPS dirty or
deformed?
Checking after resetting the Drum Cartridge.
12 Reseat the Drum Cartridge.
Is the image printed correctly?
Checking the laser beam window of the ROS ASSY.

Are the laser beam windows on the ROS ASSY clean?
Checking the laser beam path.
14 Are there any foreign substance between the ROS ASSY and
Drum Cartridge?
Check the MOTOR DISP operation.
Execute the Diag Digital Output [093-001] to check the rota-

tion of the MOTOR DISP.
Is it working properly?
16 Is the image printed correctly?
Check the installation of the Drum Cartridge.
Is the Drum Cartridge installed properly, with no foreign sub-

stances at the contact point between the ATC Sensor in the
Drum Cartridge and the CONNECTOR ASSY XERO?
Check the ATC Sensor part of the Drum Cartridge.
18 Is the connection terminal of the ATC Sensor part in the Drum
Cartridge damaged?
Check the CONNECTOR ASSY XERO.
19 Is the connection terminal of the CONNECTOR ASSY XERO
damaged?
20 Is the image printed correctly?
Check and Action
