Monitoring the FC6A Series MICROSmart

Monitoring Device Values

You can check device values on the FC6A Series MICROSmart. The HMI module features two types of device monitors.

Going to device monitor mode from the standard screen

Device values can be checked but not modified.

Running Device Monitor on the system menu

Device values can be checked and modified.

Device values can be monitored regardless of the user program operating status (run/stop). This section describes the device

monitor mode when the user program is running.

If you press the

monitor mode and the device values can be monitored (Device values cannot be modified). Continue to press the

(right) buttons to change the device type.

The device type changes in the order below.

I, Q, T, C, M, and R are bit devices.

TC, TP, CC, CP, and D are word devices.

Note: I1000 or greater, Q1000 or greater, and non-retentive data registers are not displayed in the Device Monitor.
