Assembling the elbow joint
NOTICE
Damage to flexible printed circuit substrates. The
joint cover caps are designed such that they serve as
guides for the flexible printed circuit substrates during
flexion and extension of the elbow. If the cover caps
are removed the flexible circuit substrates are expo-
sed and can under certain circumstances be bent
and damaged during movement. This can cause the
connection to the elbow lock or on/off switch to be
lost. Do not remove the two joint cover caps (arrows)!
Screw the elbow joint into the humeral section. Be sure
8
that the friction adjustment screw and the recess of the
lamination ring thread are placed opposite to each other.
Set the AFB dial to minimum compensation force.
9
Extend the elbow and lock it with the Bowden cable.
Switch the DynamicArm off. Ensure that the Dynamic-
Arm is switched off.
