7. Assign the route map to a peer router.
8. Exit Router BGP mode.

RS 8264CS(config-route-map)# as-path-preference <AS number list (up to 32 entries)>
RS 8264CS(config-route-map)# local-preference <local preference value>
RS 8264CS(config-route-map)# metric <metric value>
RS 8264CS(config-route-map)# enable
RS 8264CS(config-route-map)# exit
RS 8264CS(config)# router bgp
RS 8264CS(config-router-bgp)# enable
Select the peer router and then add the route map to the incoming route map list,
RS 8264CS(config-router-bgp)# neighbor 1 route-map in <1‐64>
or to the outgoing route map list.
RS 8264CS(config-router-bgp)# neighbor 1 route-map out <1‐64
RS 8264CS(config-router-bgp)# exit
