9.4 Setting A New Point

New points can be established by the instrument either using a sideshot or
resection method.

9.4.1 Side Shot Method

Set up the instrument at a known point and measure the coordinate of the new
points by the side shot method.
Operation procedure
Press the [▼] key from the
layout menu 1/2 to get the
layout menu 2/2.
Press the F2 (NEW POINT) key
