5.2 Import

5.2.2 Importing a file

Function description
The Import file function enables data files resulting from "Robust operation" to be
individually transferred to the ePS server. This data must have been transferred to
an external data medium first (PC, notebook, PG, etc.) via the "Backup" function
described in Section "Import". You can also change the suggested e-mail address
if you want to receive notification after import.

Note
Before importing data files from "Robust operation", you should activate the notifi-
cation limit to avoid excessive generation of messages. This is only necessary if
you have used notifications within the control monitor function.

5.2.3 Importing a directory (requires ActiveX)

Function description
The Import directory function enables transfer of data resulting from "Robust opera-
tion" to the ePS server, even from several different machines. This data must have
been transferred to an external data medium first (PC, notebook, PG, etc.) via the
"Backup" ePS function available on the control.
All data must be in one directory. You can also change the suggested e-mail ad-
dress if you want to receive notification after import.
