Restoring Firmware at the Touch of a Button
Requirements:
• Firmware update, carried out
Warning: Touching voltage-carrying conductors or phone connections
can cause life-threatening electric shocks.
• For some installation and maintenance work, it is necessary to open
the PBX while it is in operation (qualified electrician only). Make sure
that the PBX is never left unattended while working with an open
casing.
• Only a qualified electrician may perform installation work within an
open casing or service work using the buttons inside the casing.
Warning: Power surges, which can occur during electrical storms, can
cause life-threatening electric shocks and damage or destroy the PBX.
• Do not open the PBX during an electrical storm.
Note: The previous firmware will only be retained in the flash memory
for four weeks. After four weeks, the previous firmware will be overwritten
by the current firmware to prevent the restoration of obsolete data.
